The New Jersey Veterans SOS Stakeholders are a coalition of individuals and organizations based in Northern New Jersey that are dedicated to providing assistance to local veterans. Representatives from a variety of service providers who work with veterans on issues like homelessness, mental health, housing, employment, and advocacy for legislation make up the composition of this group. These service providers help veterans and their families with these issues. The organization gets together once every quarter in a different counties to discuss ways to make the lives of veterans in the state better, network, and coordinate the various services that are available to veterans. The group also host events that address issues like veterans suicide awareness.
In the first place, we are firm believers in good relationships, and we think that everybody and everyone can make a contribution to the care of our veterans. Your organization could get access to a wealth of useful resources, such as a pre-existing base of support, pre-existing knowledge, and pre-existing networks, if it has a solid non-profit partner. There is no one entity that can handle these complicated problems; but, by utilizing the community groups and resources that are already in place, we can make sure that the needs of veterans are fulfilled as promptly as possible.
